The growth and success of Snappy Dance Theater depends critically on support from our community (both the local and the dance community). There are many ways for you to get involved as well. We obviously need financial support to enable us to invest in Snappy's future. But we also need spectators, in-kind-donors, volunteers, spokespeople, brains, etc.
On this page you will find a brief overview of some of the opportunities and links to related information. If you have any question or would like to get involved, please contact Jürgen Weiss, Snappy's Executive Director, at 617.718.2497 or by email at email@example.com.
In 2005, Snappy Dance Theater was ranked 12th largest performing arts organization in Greater Boston by audience, at a fraction of the budget of other companies in the top 25, and as the only contemporary dance company on the list.
Four groups have been critical in helping Snappy grow: our board of trustees and honorary trustees, our "Founders Circle" and our "Launch Circle" members. Founders are individuals (or couples) who have made a cumulative contribution to Snappy of $25,000 or more. Snappy's Launch Group members are individuals (or couples) making a commitment to a $10,000 contribution over a 24 month period, with a minimum $5,000 contribution in the first 12 months.
