Ellen Grossman (President) is the treasurer of WOW Inc. in Newton, MA, prior to which she was the president and co-owner of Fabrications. A patron of the arts, Ellen sits on the board of trustees for the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater in Wellfleet, MA as well as The Society of Arts & Crafts, Boston, MA, where she served as board president from 1989-1999. Ellen graduated from UCLA with a major in dance, so her enthusiasm for the art form goes back all the way to college! She joined Snappy's board in Spring 2003.

Jerry Boos, C.P.A (Treasurer) adds significant finance and accounting expertise to Snappy's board. Since 1989, Jerry is providing accounting, tax and consulting services as a founding partner of Boos & Chan. Prior, he was a partner with Touche Ross & Co., and then a member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. operations of a British publicly-held company listed on the London Stock Exchange and a partner of Touche Ross & Co. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Asian American Bank and Trust Company. Jerry joined Snappy's board in March 2004.

Greg Moore (Clerk) grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. He is a co-founder of Auctive, Inc., a management consulting and ventures firm focusing in the beverage industry. Greg received his MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and B.S. from University of California, San Diego. Greg joined Snappy's board in Spring 2003.

Rick Grossman is the founder and CEO of Adesso Inc. in Boston, MA, and CEO of FR Resources in New York, NY, prior to which he was a co-founder of Fabrications with his wife Ellen. Rick is the Chairman of the Board of the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University. Rick is also a trustee of the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater in Wellfleet, MA and the Fisher Hill Association in Brookline, MA. Rick holds a JD from Harvard Law School. He joined Snappy's board in March 2003.

Michael Jacobson serves on the Board of the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University, the Board of Managers of the Residences at Charles Square, and the Board of the American Repertory Theater. He was co-owner and Vice President of Omni Travel Services from 1979-1999, and Executive Vice President of Navigant International from 1999-2001. He received a BA from the University of Michigan and a Masters from Harvard University, both in Slavic Languages and Literature, as well as an MBA from Northeastern University. He owns and manages property on the island of Kauai and directs a charitable foundation there. His son is a senior at the University of Hawaii. Michael joined Snappy's board in 2006.

Gail Kaplan received her BA from the University of Texas in Austin in 1973 and began her career as an English teacher, first in the Peace Corps in bush in Liberia, and then in Houston, Texas. She became a legal recruiter in 1986 in Houston. When she moved to Boston in 1996, she established Kaplan & Jass, a national recruitment and staffing firm with offices in Boston and the Midwest with a particular specialty in intellectual property attorneys. A long standing member of the prestigious Pinnacle Society, an honors organization for recruiters comprised of the top producers in the nation, Gail was the Hospitality Chair for several years and was their President from 2000-2004. She joined Snappy's board in 2006.

Ron Nordin is a former software executive, CEO and venture capital investor. He was a Senior Vice President at Cognos, an early stage technology firm that he helped build into one of Canada's largest software companies. Following that, Ron was appointed CEO of SQA, a Boston based software start-up, which he developed into a highly valued, public company. Most recently, he was a General Partner at Atlas Venture, investing in early stage technology companies and serving on their Boards to help build their organizations. Ron received his Bachelor's degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo - with a special interest in computer-aided choreography. He has always had a strong interest in the arts, and is dedicating some time to fostering emerging groups in music and the performing arts in Boston.

Jurgen Weiss has been on Snappy's Board of Directors since the beginning, and in Summer 1999 became the company's executive director.

Jurgen was born in Stuttgart (Germany) and lived in Germany and France before coming to the United States in 1991. He has worked as an advertising executive for McCann Erickson in Paris, France, and as a management consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton (Dusseldorf, New York) and The Brattle Group (Cambridge) prior to joining LECG LLC., a globally operating economic expert services firm, where he is a director and appears as an economic expert in commercial lititgation and regulatory matters. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Reutlingen, where he teaches business strategy at the graduate level.

Jurgen holds a B.A. in European Business Administration from EPBS (European Partnership of Business Schools Reutlingen/D and Reims/F), an MBA from Columbia Business School (Beta Gamma Sigma), and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard Business School/Harvard University.
